The ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum is remarkably similar to the standard ImTOO DVD Ripper with a few exceptions. You can now rip custom size DVD files to any format [not only the standard 4.7gb or 8.5gb DVD size] plus one can convert the chosen file for playback on the PSP, iPod or comparable handheld device. Other then that, both applications are the same. But for my money, I would choose ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum over its little brother.
