Pixel Editor is essentially a graphic design tool which allows you to transfer and edit images with ease. This application will be of specific interest to web developers, as it is ideal for creating banners and toolbars to decorate any website. With support for a number of different graphic formats as well as rendering in up to 16 million colours, Pixel Editor is certainly a worthwhile application. The utility is easy enough to use and yet still features an impressive array of tools and functions for image editing and conversion, making it a top class graphic design application. The only real concern would be the lack of an in-depth tutorial to guide beginners through the initial stages of using Pixel Editor 1.1, but this oversight is easily forgivable and doesn’t really detract from the overall appeal of the utility.
