The DivX codec has become highly popular due to its ability to compress long video segments into small sizes without sacrificing visual quality, and DivX 5.2 is certainly no exception. The tool performs just as well as previous versions, only with improved ripping functionality, whereby audio and video media are transferred to the hard drive. If you are currently a DivX user then version 5.2 is defiantly worth the download, and if you arent then nows as good a time as any to make the switch. There really can be no faulting this tool which has become a household name over the last couple of years and promises long lived success in future.

DivX 5.1.1 is currently their latest release (Feb 04), this version is free, which unfortunately means it comes bundled with ads. Nothing that a spyware remover will not fix :)
