PhotoShow has lots of potential and it can be a very useful tool at times, but it suffers from a few noticeable flaws. The setup process is long and painful, requiring a lengthy download and registration to simply access the 15 day trial, after which you still have to navigate through several more prompts to purchase the full version before finally being allowed to use the application. The tool itself feels very professional, with a colourful interface and very helpful wizard to guide you through using the utility. PhotoShow does allow for basic image editing, but the real strength lies in the slideshow function, allowing you to show off your pictures with ease and even adding additional visual and audio effects to presentations. It is just a pity then that one has to struggle so to get PhotoShow up and running, because the tedious set-up ruins what is otherwise an excellent application.
