Studio Line Photo Basic fails to make a lasting impression. It doesn’t do any one thing wrong in particular, but leaves the user feeling a little shortchanged and is seriously lacking in depth when compared to some of the other offerings in the genre. To be fair, there is a decent collection of photo editing, saving, sharing and printing features available and using Studio Line Photo Basic is not difficult. Beginners and home users will probably find the tool well suited to general photo management and should not be deterred by the lack of depth. Hardcore image editors and photograph enthusiasts looking for a solid editing application will however be rather disappointed with Studio Line Photo Basic, and should rather seek out one of the many alternatives available.
