I don't want to say that WGET for Windows is solely for the "Geekier" user, but it is. Review by FileBEAST's J.W.B:
WGET for Windows has a steep learning curve and requires you to enter long strings just to download simple files. But if you download an additional GUI for WGET then the process becomes much simpler. As it is though, WGET is complex. To grab a file you type "get" plus the full url and a simple DOS interface updates you on its status. WGET can actually perform all the functions of a windows download manager, it is just tricky to use.
