Essentially, a free version of counter strike, Americas Army 2: Special Forces puts you in the role of one of 4 different troopers and then sends you into the battlefield, ready to kill.

The graphics are fantastically smooth and shiny for a free game like this. The amount of time and effort put into this title is clear to see. Americas Army 2: Special Forces runs slower then Counterstrike though, this isn't a game about rushing. It is about teamwork and strategies. Americas Army 2: Special Forces is a must download, so start training today. Added bonus: much safer then the real thing.

In Americas Army 2: Special Forces you play to reach green berret status by completing different missions from the SFASP (Special Forces Assigment and Selection process).

With many different training missions to help you get used to the controls in the game, such as: Weapons Specialist, Intelligence, Engineer, Communications, and Combat Medic.

There is a choice of network or single player mode. You can be a part of the team to go on various Americas Army missions such as: search & rescue, surveillance, reconnaissance and unconventianal warfare.

Americas Army players can choose from many weapons in the game: the MP5SD6 Remington 870 shotgun, the AT4 (anti tank rocket) and BDM (for bunker demolition).

America's Army game play is so realistic that you are bound by the rules of a soldier; Honour, duty and integrity. Another feature is that mission completion is not only based on who was defeated but also on team effort and how well they abided to the soldiers' terms of conduct.
