OpenOffice.org is an excellent freeware application and the ideal solution for users seeking a complete office suite without a hefty price tag. Despite its freeware status, OpenOffice.org is a top office application and comes equipped with all the features and functions one could possibly require, from a fully fledged word processor to a spreadsheet application and a 3D drawing tool. OpenOffice.org has so much in its favour: itÂ’s easy to use, packed full of features and is completely free. Furthermore, regular updates ensure that the application is constantly being tweaked and improved to provide optimum performance. Overall, this is a top class freeware offering and, owing to its massive popularity; it seems the majority of PC users out there tend to agree.
